Welcome to Automne Messiaen!
A huge celebration...
Automne Messiaen is Montréal's commemoration of the centenary of the birth of Olivier Messiaen, born in Avignon, on December 10, 1908. It is a celebration of joy and life through the philosophy and the work of this French composer who dazzled and enriched the musical world of the 20th century.
From September 10 to December 20, 2008, Montréal's community is invited to more than forty events. Please come to visit the website www.automnemessiaen.com for the complete program.
